Carpentry

Students use the same construction/ Joinery workshops that our pre-trade students work in so they are able to see first-hand the types of projects that are carried out by the full-time students. Students get to build things such as bird feeders, benches and cabinets. Health and Safety policy requires that students have steel-capped boots in these workshops.

Please note, this is a STAR course, which is only available to NZ Secondary Schools via application by the school's nominated STAR / Gateway Co-ordinator
