Engineering

Students must be Year 12 or higher. A practical course for students who like making objects out of metal. Engineering is available as a pre-trade programme at SIT and students will work in our well-equipped workshops. Overalls and leather shoes are compulsory for students to enter the engineering workshops.

Please note, this is a STAR course, which is only available to NZ Secondary Schools via application by the school's nominated STAR / Gateway Co-ordinator
