Beginning his career in TV news, Patrick’s screen credits include ten short films, three independent feature films, and three broadcast television comedies. Collectively, his short films have been selected for over forty international film festivals including Clermont-Ferrand, London, Busan, Sydney, NZIFF (twice), Montreal (twice) and Palm Springs ShortsFest (twice), and his films have been nominated for two New Zealand Film Awards. His debut feature, ‘Offensive Behaviour’ was picked up for distribution by New York-based Troma Entertainment and premiered internationally at the 2006 Cannes Marché du Film. In 2011, his second feature film ‘The Holy Roller’ was released theatrically in cinemas across New Zealand and Australia; it sold over 20,000 DVD units in Walmart stores across the United States and is currently streaming on Amazon Prime and Microsoft's VOD platform.
