Southern Institute of Technology - Business Division of Te Pūkenga, is passionate about providing quality education and the best support services to our students and organisation. We are always looking for bright, innovative, and supportive individuals to join us.
We are seeking expressions of interest for suitably qualified people to act as facilitators for our SIT2LRN programmes. As a facilitator, you are required to:
- Provide academic and pastoral support to students by distance
- Deliver online correspondence and web-based tutorials that both assess students’ work according to given assessment schemes and given written feedback to help students in their learning
- Monitor the study progress of students
- Review assessments and content for further improvements
To be successful, you must have:
- An appropriate tertiary qualification that is one level higher than the level being taught
- Professional experience in an appropriate subject area is preferred
- Relevant educational qualification, e.g., New Zealand Certificate in Adult Education Level 5
- Excellent computer and internet skills and knowledge, with experience in learning management systems being an advantage
