Animation

Students get an introduction to skills necessary in producing assets and characters for a game environment. These skills include 3D modelling, texturing and lighting. Students will also optimise their assets for importing into the gaming engine and apply basic game rules to a first person game prototype. Skills learnt during this course give the students a sneak peak at the skills needed within the animation and gaming developing industries.

Please note, this is a STAR course, which is only available to NZ Secondary Schools via application by the school's nominated STAR / Gateway Co-ordinator
