Online applications are open until 2 weeks prior to the intake start date. It is recommended that you apply early to avoid delays during or near deadline periods and to be sure that you don’t miss out if courses/intakes/Zero Fees Scheme places fill up quickly.
Enrolments for each calendar year typically open in October of the previous year.
Online applications are available on a year by year basis and students are welcome to apply for multiple intakes on the one application form to avoid paying multiple administration fees. Further enrolment is the responsibility of individual students - there is no automatic enrolment rollover.
If you are new to SIT you are required to provide an active NSN number or if you do not have one a verified copy (signed by a Justice of the Peace/Court Registrar or Deputy Registrar or Lawyer) of either your birth certificate or passport (if you are a Resident or Permanent resident of NZ, please provide a copy of proof of residency), along with a copy of your NZQA record of learning/transcripts from other institutes that you may have studied with / CV / letter of intent.
The Application Checklist on each programme's webpage details any further documentation you are required to submit with your application.
